Morgan Hunt is working with a Professional Regulatory Body who are currently looking for a Temporary Compliance Analyst to sit within the Delivery and Scheme Directorate.
This role involves contributing to compliance or enforcement activity in relation to energy suppliers, scheme participants, and other regulated companies, producing high-quality, timely, and robust analysis of potential issues while making evidence-based recommendations; identifying key issues as well as assisting in the management of risk.
The successful candidate should enjoy developing new skills, capabilities, and expertise and being engaged across a broad range of diverse activities, including stakeholder engagement, investigation, policy development, and project management.
They should also be able to collect, analyze, and investigate qualitative and quantitative data and evidence to arrive at conclusions and offer recommendations, and possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
Job Title: Compliance Analyst
Location: Hybrid (1 day in London Office)
Hourly Rate: £13.90 per hour (PAYE)
Job Type: Temporary (6 weeks), possibility for extension
Hours: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:
- Contributing to compliance or enforcement activity in relation to energy suppliers, scheme participants, and other regulated companies, producing high-quality, timely, and robust analysis of potential issues.
- Making evidence-based recommendations: identifying & escalating key issues as well as assisting in the management of risk.
- Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to gather and document intelligence on compliance to inform casework, including engaging with whistle-blowers when relevant.
- Effectively communicating the benefits, challenges, and trade-offs of potential compliance or enforcement actions to senior colleagues.
- Working collaboratively across team boundaries and engaging with key organisational functions, developing close links to manage risks and issues.
- Representing the organisation externally and building constructive stakeholder relationships to ensure challenges and issues are identified and resolved in consumers’ interests.
