This is a great opportunity for an immediately available Employee Relations Specialist to join a leading Civil Service organisation. Reporting into the Assistant HR Director you will be responsible for leading and overseeing employee relations casework across the organisation.

Your key accountabilities will include:

  • Providing expert employee relations advice and guidance including on all ER issues including grievances and absence management
  • Managing formal investigations and hearings
  • Supporting HR Business Partners to drive organisational performance
  • Developing and delivering training to managers
  • Analysing ER data and identifying trends
  • Supporting with the review and development of HR policies

You should be an experienced Employee Relations Specialist with a strong understanding of current employment law, ACAS codes and Civil Service-wide employee relations challenges. Excellent stakeholder management skills and a coaching mindset is essential. Ideally you will be MCIPD qualified and have worked in the Civil Service.
