Morgan Hunt currently requires a Maintenance Assistant/Handyperson for NHS based in West & East Sussex.
Pay Rate: £18ph to £19ph (limit) – depending on experience.
Hours: 37.5 hrs (8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday).
Location: West and East Sussex.
Duration: 6 months ongoing contract.
Job Description Requirements:
- The candidate will be expected to undertake semi-skilled craft duties to enable effective installation, maintenance and repair of a wide range of plant and equipment.
- Carry out day‑to‑day maintenance and fault repairs, and testing as instructed by the Mechanical and Electrical Manager (M & E Manager) and other skilled trades.
- Apply a flexible attitude and approach to carrying out all assigned tasks.
- Have good time management skills, be able to work alone or unsupervised when necessary, and adhere to Health and Safety principles.
Qualification:
- Minimum NVQ Level 2 qualification.
- Experience of basic engineering plant and equipment maintenance, including lighting and power systems, portable appliances, domestic appliances, firefighting systems and other associated building services plant and equipment.
- Basic Carpentry skills.
