Job Title: English Lecturer (Temporary)
Location: North London
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality teaching and learning in GCSE English Language and Functional Skills English.
Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of learners.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and support team goals.
Plan lessons, assess progress, and maintain accurate records.
Ensure compliance with policies and quality assurance processes.
Qualifications and Experience
A degree or equivalent qualification.
A recognized teaching qualification.
Experience teaching GCSE English Language and Functional Skills English.
Knowledge of the GCSE English Language curriculum (familiarity with the Eduqas syllabus is a plus).
Strong communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
Experience supporting learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN) or from disadvantaged backgrounds.
