About the Role

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and inclusive maths lessons.
  • Teach students across a range of qualifications, including GCSE and Functional Skills (A Level experience is desirable).
  • Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support learners to achieve their full potential.
  • Create a positive and motivating learning environment that promotes achievement and wellbeing.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching, learning and assessment.
  • Participate in college events, tutorials, parents' evenings and professional development activities.

About You

You will have

  • A degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject.
  • A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent), or a willingness to work towards one.
  • Experience of teaching mathematics in Further Education, Secondary Education or a related setting.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A commitment to inclusive education and supporting learners from diverse backgrounds.
