We are working with a forward-thinking training provider seeking an experienced Engineering IQA & Assessor to join their team on a fully remote, permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a quality-driven professional who is passionate about maintaining high standards in engineering education and apprenticeship delivery.
The Role:
You will play a key role in both assessing learners and internally quality assuring engineering programmes. Working remotely, you will support the delivery of high-quality training, ensuring compliance with awarding body standards and continuous improvement across provision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver end-to-end assessment of engineering learners across relevant programmes
- Carry out Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) activities in line with awarding organisation requirements
- Support and standardise assessors to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery
- Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback
- Ensure all documentation and processes meet compliance and audit standards
- Contribute to quality improvement strategies and continuous development
Requirements:
- Level 3 Assessor qualification (essential)
- Level 4 IQA qualification (essential)
- Strong occupational background within Engineering
- Experience in assessing and quality assuring apprenticeship or vocational programmes
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
