We are currently recruiting for an Outreach Worker to work within a street-based outreach service in the Bristol area, supporting individuals experiencing homelessness.
Role Details
- Location: Bristol
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week
- Pay Rate: £15.95 per hour + HP
Please note, this is a street outreach role involving regular travel across Bristol to support clients within the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting initial street-based assessments for new rough sleepers and ongoing casework
- Planning and organising outreach shifts using referral and mapping data
- Supporting clients into accommodation and relevant services via the Pathway
- Organising annual street counts and mapping hotspot areas
- Attending multi-agency meetings and liaising with partner organisations
- Supporting access to accommodation, health services, housing advice, and day centres
- Leading on crisis intervention work alongside the Team Manager
- Contributing to service development in line with strategies such as No Second Night Out
- Supporting cold weather provision and outreach initiatives
- Assisting with monitoring service expenditure and volunteer timesheets
