Salary & benefits: NJC Fringe Support Staff pay scale, £30,559 - £33,366 per annum (FTE). The role: You will take responsibility for coordinating healthcare provision across the school, working closely with students, families and staff. Key duties include:
- Developing and maintaining individual healthcare plans for students with medical needs.
- Managing first aid provision, equipment and training across the site.
- Overseeing the safe storage, recording and administration of medication.
- Liaising with external health professionals and immunisation teams.
- Contacting parents/carers regarding illness or medical concerns.
- Reporting serious incidents and wellbeing concerns to senior leaders and safeguarding staff.
About you: You will have:
- A recognised First Aid at Work qualification.
- Training in supporting conditions such as diabetes, epilepsy, asthma and anaphylaxis.
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
- Experience in a healthcare, education or child-focused setting (desirable).
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to communicate sensitively and clearly.
