Hours:

  • Monday: 9:30am - 3:00pm
  • Tuesday: 9:30am - 3:00pm
  • Wednesday: 9:30am - 3:00pm
  • Thursday: 9:30am - 3:00pm
  • Friday: 9:30am - 3:00pm

Pay Rate: Competitive, depending on experience

Morgan Hunt is working with a leading Further Education College in Birmingham, looking to recruit a passionate and experienced Health and Social Care Lecturer to deliver courses in:

  • Early Years Education & Care Level 2 Diploma
  • Supported Teaching & Learning Level 2 & 3 (CACHE)
  • Working with Children Level 1

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons across the relevant Health and Social Care and Childcare curriculum.
  • Support learners in achieving their qualifications and progressing into employment or further study.
  • Prepare learning materials, assess student work, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Track student progress and contribute to internal verification and quality assurance processes.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment that supports the diverse needs of learners.

Requirements:

  • Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent) - essential
  • Relevant subject qualification at Level 3 or above
  • Experience delivering CACHE-accredited qualifications
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and time-management skills
