This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced lecturer or an industry professional looking to move into teaching. You'll play a key role in inspiring learners and helping them develop the skills needed for successful careers in the ever-evolving world of technology.

The Role

  • Plan and deliver engaging Computer Science lessons across a range of FE programmes.
  • Teach topics such as programming, cybersecurity, networking, databases, software development, and computer systems.
  • Assess student work and provide constructive feedback to support learner progression.
  • Create an inclusive and engaging learning environment that motivates students to achieve their full potential.
  • Monitor learner progress and contribute to curriculum development where appropriate.

Requirements

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science or a related subject.
  • Previous teaching experience within Further Education is desirable but not essential.
  • A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, or equivalent) is desirable.
  • Candidates without a teaching qualification but with relevant industry experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong subject knowledge and excellent communication skills.
  • A genuine passion for education and supporting student success.
