The Role

As an EHCP Coordinator, you will work closely with curriculum teams, SEND professionals, local authorities, parents/carers, and external agencies to oversee the effective implementation and review of EHCPs across the college.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage EHCP processes across the college
  • Ensure annual reviews are completed within statutory timelines
  • Liaise with local authorities, parents/carers, and external professionals
  • Monitor student progress and support outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records and compliance documentation
  • Support teaching staff with SEND strategies and interventions
  • Promote inclusive practice throughout the college

Requirements

  • Previous experience working with EHCPs within education
  • Strong understanding of SEND legislation and statutory processes
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Experience within a college, school, or further education setting desirable
  • Ability to manage multiple caseloads effectively
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
