Lecturer - Art & Design Fashion Business & Retail

Salary: Up to £30 to £33 Per Hour (Negotiable)
Contract: Temporary / Full-time / Part time

Key Responsibilities
- Teach and assess Fashion Business, Retail and Art & Design programmes.
- Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons in line with college standards.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to support learner achievement.
- Develop and maintain schemes of work, lesson plans and course materials.
- Assess student coursework, projects and portfolios.
- Support learners with their academic, creative and professional development.
- Embed current fashion, retail and creative industry practices into teaching.
- Contribute to curriculum development and continuous quality improvement.
- Support learner recruitment, open events and wider departmental activities.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance and achievement.
About You
- A relevant qualification or industry experience in Fashion, Fashion Business, Retail, Merchandising, Art & Design or a related subject .
- Previous teaching or lecturing experience, ideally within Further Education.
- Strong knowledge of current fashion, retail and creative industry practices.
- A recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE, Cert Ed or equivalent is desirable.
- Good understanding of assessment and quality assurance processes.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
