Morgan Hunt is delighted to be working with a prestigious further educational college in the UK to help employ an experienced professional on a full-time contract for their Art Technician role.

Position: Art and Design Technician

Location: East London

Job Type: Temp

Pay: Negotiable

Workdays: Full Time

Start Date: Immediate or after notice period

Key Details:

  • Provide technical support across a wide range of Art & Design areas including screen printing, darkroom photography, textiles, graphics, 3D design, and digital media using Adobe Creative Suite and CAD software.
  • Maintain and manage specialist equipment, materials, machinery, and health & safety procedures, including COSHH compliance, risk assessments, laser cutting, and 3D printing support.
  • Support students and staff within an educational environment by delivering technical demonstrations, preparing lesson materials, assisting during workshops, and promoting a safe and inclusive learning experience.
  • Have a valid Enhanced DBS registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
