We are currently recruiting for an Early Years Lecturer to join a further education college in Greater Manchester on a temporary basis, starting ASAP. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Early Years lecturer or teacher to support learners during the new academic year.
The Role
- Deliver high-quality Early Years teaching
- Plan and prepare engaging lessons and learning activities
- Support students with their academic progress and development
- Assess and provide constructive feedback on student work
- Maintain high standards of teaching, learning and learner engagement
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Work effectively with colleagues and curriculum staff
The Ideal Candidate
- Strong subject knowledge and experience within Early Years
- Previous experience teaching or lecturing in an FE/college environment
- A relevant Early Years qualification at Level 3 or above
- A recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS or equivalent (desirable)
- Experience delivering Early Years programmes such as T Level, BTEC, CACHE or similar (desirable)
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- A commitment to supporting learners and achieving positive outcomes
- A valid DBS, ideally registered on the Update Service
