We are currently recruiting for an Early Years Lecturer to join a further education college in Greater Manchester on a temporary basis, starting ASAP. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Early Years lecturer or teacher to support learners during the new academic year.

The Role

  • Deliver high-quality Early Years teaching
  • Plan and prepare engaging lessons and learning activities
  • Support students with their academic progress and development
  • Assess and provide constructive feedback on student work
  • Maintain high standards of teaching, learning and learner engagement
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Work effectively with colleagues and curriculum staff

The Ideal Candidate

  • Strong subject knowledge and experience within Early Years
  • Previous experience teaching or lecturing in an FE/college environment
  • A relevant Early Years qualification at Level 3 or above
  • A recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS or equivalent (desirable)
  • Experience delivering Early Years programmes such as T Level, BTEC, CACHE or similar (desirable)
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills
  • A commitment to supporting learners and achieving positive outcomes
  • A valid DBS, ideally registered on the Update Service
