We are working on behalf of a well-established and forward-thinking further education college based in Romford, East London, to recruit a part-time 3D Design Lecturer on a fixed-term contract starting August 2025.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and creative individual with industry or teaching experience in 3D Design to join a vibrant and supportive learning environment, helping to inspire and develop the next generation of designers.
The Role
The successful candidate will deliver engaging, practical, and theory-based sessions in areas such as product design, CAD, model making, and spatial design. You\βll be supporting learners at various levels, helping them build the skills and confidence they need to progress in education or employment.
Key Duties:
- Plan and deliver effective teaching sessions across relevant 3D design modules
- Create innovative learning materials and adapt teaching strategies to suit a diverse range of learners
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support
- Collaborate with the department to continuously improve the curriculum
Ideal Candidate:
- Degree or equivalent qualification in 3D Design or a closely related subject
- Recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
- Strong understanding of current 3D design practices and tools (e.g. CAD, model making, design software)
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- A genuine passion for education and student success
