HR Advisor Contract: Permanent, Onsite working (early finish on a Friday and potential to work one day remote a week) Morgan Hunt is recruiting for a generalist HR Advisor to join a college based in the West Midlands. The HR Advisor, will provide comprehensive HR and ER support across the organisation, acting as the trusted HR partner and first line of assistance for all employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary actions, grievances, and absence management. Act as an influential business partner, guiding managers and staff on the effective use of HR policies and procedures. Support payroll processes by managing starters, leavers, and contract amendments, ensuring accurate record-keeping. Manage and support employee sickness, including occupational health referrals and absence management plans. Provide advice on family-friendly leave, including maternity, paternity, and shared parental leave. Produce and report on HR metrics, such as sickness absence, equality data, and headcount reporting. Handle HR casework, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and performance management. Maintain up-to-date HR systems and employee records, ensuring legal compliance. Contribute to HR projects and initiatives, supporting the wider HR team during peak periods. Experience in a generalist HR role within a busy office environment.
