? Job Opportunity Summary: Temporary Support Worker (Hybrid Working)

Pay Rate: £14.50 – £16.25/hour (including holiday pay)Hours: 37.5/week | Mon-Fri | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PMContract: Temporary (1-2 months)Work Setting: Hybrid – clients' homes, community, some remoteLone Working: Required

You will support up to 35 clients by delivering key work sessions, managing needs and risk assessments, and helping clients access housing, benefits, training, and social services. The role is client-led, community-focused, and requires both independent and collaborative work.

?? Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse caseload of 35 clients with varied support needs
  • Deliver regular key work sessions with SMART support planning
  • Complete in-depth assessments and housing benefit applications
  • Support clients to appointments and facilitate multi-agency collaboration
  • Deliver activities and group sessions that build independence
  • Guide clients through welfare benefits, education, and employment
  • Respond to crisis situations quickly and effectively
  • Lone working in the community and remote working as needed

  • Experience supporting people with mental health issues, substance misuse, offending histories, or challenging behaviour
  • Strong knowledge of housing law, supported accommodation, and benefits
  • Capable of handling high-risk, high-need cases with strong safeguarding skills

  • Self-driven, organised, and able to prioritise a complex workload
