Hours: 40 hours per week, on a rota basis and it's a permanent position.
About the Role: As a Customer Services Officer, you'll be the first point of contact for visitors and residents at our YMCA centres. Your role involves providing high-quality customer service, handling reception duties, answering queries, managing bookings, and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the building. You will also be a designated First Aider and Fire Marshal.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors, providing information on services and facilities.
- Operate reception and telephone switchboard, log repairs, and process payments.
- Conduct regular safety checks, including fire evacuation procedures and first aid.
- Support residents and users of Health and Wellbeing services with bookings and enquiries.
Essential Requirements:
- Experience in customer service or working in a public-facing role.
- First Aid qualification (or willing to train).
- Ability to work on a rota, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
