Housing Support Officer Location: Surbiton

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (shift rota including evenings & weekends)

Salary: £25,881 per annum

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive Supported Housing Officer to deliver housing management and tailored support to residents. You will play a key role in helping people sustain tenancies, build independence, and access opportunities in training, education, and employment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of residents and create person-centred support plans.
  • Monitor rent accounts, intervening early to prevent arrears.
  • Maximise occupancy through referrals, assessments, and move-ins.
  • Address anti-social behaviour and ensure tenancy compliance.
  • Carry out welfare and wellbeing checks.
  • Support residents to engage with progression and community activities.

About You

  • Experience supporting vulnerable people (housing, advice, or social care).
  • Strong communication, organisational, and IT skills.
  • Resilient, empathetic, and confident in challenging situations.
  • Flexible to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Desirable: Experience in supported housing, resettlement, or housing systems knowledge.
