Job Description

Morgan Hunt are working with a national Charity who are looking for an SEN Employability Tutor in High Wycombe. This is a full time permanent role paying up to £24,520 - £28000 (depending on qualifications and experience). The role will involve delivering Employability programmes including Functional Skills to post-16 learners with special needs. The SEN Employability Tutor will be responsible for:

  • Planning, creating and delivering engaging Employability programmes including Functional Skills
  • Providing advice and guidance to learners to overcome barriers to secure employment
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes
  • Working with the quality team to ensure standards are maintained

The SEN Employability Tutor will need to:

  • Have Level 3 Teaching qualification or equivalent (the client may consider someone without a Level 3 qualification if they have teaching experience)
  • Experience in teaching learners with special educational needs
  • Demonstrate a successful track record in delivering Employability programmes or Functional Skills
  • Be willing to work on site 5 days per week
