This rewarding opportunity is ideal for an experienced SEND professional who is passionate about empowering young people with additional learning needs to develop the confidence, independence and employability skills they need for adult life.
Working with learners aged 18-25 with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), you will deliver an engaging curriculum focused on life skills, employability and preparation for supported internships and the workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality teaching to learners with SEND across pre-supported internship and life skills programmes.
- Plan engaging lessons that develop independence, communication, employability and preparation for adulthood.
- Differentiating learning to meet a wide range of needs including Autism, learning disabilities and complex needs.
- Support learners during work experience placements and help build positive relationships with employers.
- Monitor learner progress, complete assessments and contribute to individual learning plans.
