Morgan Hunt are currently recruiting for an experienced Stores Operative to join a large and well-established maintenance organisation on an ongoing temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and motivated individual with previous stores or warehouse experience and a valid forklift truck licence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving, checking and storing deliveries
- Picking, packing and issuing stock items
- Operating a forklift truck safely and efficiently
- Maintaining accurate stock records and inventory levels
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Ensuring the stores area is kept clean, organised and safe
- Assisting with general warehouse and stores duties as required
Requirements:
- Valid Forklift licence
- Previous experience in a stores, warehouse or logistics environment
- Good understanding of stock control procedures
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and teamwork skills
