The Role
You'll lead and coordinate the turnaround of empty properties, ensuring repair works are completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard so homes can be re-let efficiently. This is a hands-on operational leadership role working closely with contractors, housing teams, and maintenance services.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage voids and empty homes repair programmes
- Oversee contractors delivering maintenance and reinstatement works
- Monitor KPIs, quality standards, budgets, and service performance
- Ensure properties are ready for reletting within target timescales
- Support and deputise for the Housing Maintenance Manager when required
- Work collaboratively with Housing, Tenancy, and Accommodation teams
- Ensure compliance with Health Safety and Building Regulations
- Produce reports and performance updates for senior management
About You
We're looking for candidates with experience in:
- Social housing, property maintenance, or housing management
- Voids/empty homes or responsive repairs
- Contractor management and performance monitoring
- Budget management and KPI reporting
- Building maintenance or housing legislation/compliance
