About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Repairs Manager to lead and manage the delivery of a high-quality Responsive Repairs service. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with Health & Safety legislation through the effective management of general repairs, minor adaptations, disrepair works, electrical testing (EICR), major repairs, and out-of-hours repairs. You will champion best working practices and deliver a customer-focused service that provides value for money to FCHO and its customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Responsive Repairs service to ensure timely, efficient, and customer-focused delivery.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant Health & Safety legislation and best practices.
- Manage all aspects of repairs including general repairs, minor adaptations, disrepair works, electrical testing (EICR), major repairs, and out-of-hours emergency repairs.
- Drive high performance levels and excellent service delivery through productivity monitoring and financial planning/control.
- Continuously monitor performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement appropriate remedial actions to meet key objectives and financial constraints.
- Promote continuous service improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage and develop staff within the Responsive Repairs team, fostering a culture of high performance and customer focus.
