Job Description
Are you experienced in construction project controls and passionate about improving building safety?We're looking for a Project Controls Specialist to support a major external wall remediation programme, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to high standards.
What You'll Do:
- Build and maintain project schedules, cost trackers, and dashboards
- Deliver insights through KPI tracking, earned value metrics (CPI, SPI), and performance reports
- Work closely with cost consultants, contractors, and internal project teams
- Identify and flag risks, delays, and scope changes, helping mitigate them early
- Ensure project data supports clear, accurate reporting for stakeholders
What You'll Need:
- Proven experience in project controls within the construction/built environment
- Skilled in MS Project, Excel, and EVM techniques
- Familiar with change control, risk management, and budget forecasting
- A qualification like PRINCE2, APM, or PMI Practitioner
- Bonus if you've worked on cladding or building remediation
