Morgan Hunt currently requires a Plumber/ Mechanical Technician for NHS based in Middlesex.
Pay Rate: £22ph to £25ph Ltd
Hours: 37.5 hrs, 8am to 4:30pm Mon to Thurs and 8am to 4:00pm Fri
Location: Middlesex
Duration: 3 months ongoing contract
Suitable candidates must have: full clean driving licence; vehicle will be provided.
Job description requirements:
- Carry out work activities which are both routine and non-routine.
- Carry out new works, repairs and routine planned maintenance activities to mechanical and heating, hot and cold water plant, equipment and services.
- Carry out reactive work requests, minor new installation requests and weekly planned preventative maintenance dockets efficiently.
- Escort contractors carrying out inspections and installations.
- Strictly adhere to the relevant policies and procedures, maintain tool lists and comply with Health and Safety and Security Regulations.
Qualification:
- Minimum City Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in plumbing, refrigeration or mechanical services specialised in a mechanical service (i.e. Gas, refrigeration, heat pumps).
- Water safety Training.
Experience:
- Experience with all types of mechanical, ventilation or gas installations and maintenance.
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision.
