We are seeking compassionate, dedicated, and professional Personal Care Learning Support Assistants to support learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This rewarding role involves providing both educational and personal care support to help learners access their education, develop independence, and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to learners with SEND.
- Assist learners with personal care needs, including toileting, changing, feeding, and mobility support where required.
- Support learners in the classroom, during breaks, and on educational visits.
- Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing at all times.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff to deliver individual learning and care plans.
- Assist with behaviour support strategies and emotional regulation where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate records and follow safeguarding procedures.
