Are you a passionate and qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioner looking for your next opportunity? We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established nursery based within a college campus in Epsom, Surrey. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a welcoming and supportive environment where you can make a real difference to children's early learning and development.
The nursery operates 50 weeks a year and provides excellent facilities, including a sensory room, soft play area, and engaging learning spaces designed to support children's growth and wellbeing.
The Role
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality childcare and supporting children to learn through play in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing high-quality care and supervision for children.
- Supporting engaging play and learning activities that promote children's development.
- Assisting with daily routines, including meals, personal care, toileting, and sleep times.
- Creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
- Observing and recording children's progress to support their individual development.
- Building positive relationships with children, parents, carers, and colleagues.
- Following safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies at all times.
- Working collaboratively with the wider nursery team to deliver outstanding childcare.
Essential Requirements
To be considered, you must have:
- Level 3 qualification (or above) in Childcare, Early Years, or a related subject.
- Enhanced Child DBS registered on the Update Service, or an Enhanced Child DBS certificate issued within the last 2 months (essential and non-negotiable).
- Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A caring, enthusiastic, and child-focused approach.
Desirable
- Paediatric First Aid qualification.
- Safeguarding Children training.
- Food Hygiene Certificate.
