Morgan Hunt are working with a consultancy based in Edinburgh to recruit a Structural Revit Technician to join their team. You will be supporting the delivery of projects across sectors including commercial, residential, infrastructure, energy, and industrial developments. You will play a key role in producing coordinated 3D structural models and detailed drawings, helping to deliver efficient, buildable, and technically robust design solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, manage, and coordinate detailed 3D structural models using Revit in line with project BIM standards.
  • Produce high-quality 2D drawings, including general arrangements, sections, and detailed construction information.
  • Work closely with structural engineers to translate design intent into accurate and buildable models and drawings.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines (civil, architectural, MEP) to ensure clash-free and integrated designs.
  • Participate in model reviews, clash detection, and coordination meetings.
  • Maintain BIM data, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and compliance with standards such as ISO 19650.
  • Assist in developing and improving BIM standards, templates, and workflows within the team.
  • Manage drawing registers, revisions, and documentation in accordance with project requirements.

Requirements:

  • HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in a similar role.
