Morgan Hunt are looking for qualified and dependable Electricians to join a Housing Maintenance team within a large local authority. The role involves working across a range of residential properties, including void (empty) homes and tenanted properties, delivering high-quality electrical and maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out all aspects of electrical work, including installation, testing, inspection, and fault finding.
  • Complete electrical works in void properties to prepare them for new tenants.
  • Undertake responsive repairs and planned maintenance in occupied homes.
  • Ensure compliance with current electrical regulations and health safety standards.
  • Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs in a timely manner.
  • Complete certification and maintain accurate records of all work carried out.
  • Provide a professional and customer-focused service when working in tenanted properties.

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
  • Experience in domestic maintenance, ideally within social housing.
  • Testing and inspection qualification (2391 or equivalent) desirable.
  • Full UK driving licence (van provided for work use).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
