Morgan Hunt is proud to be partnering with a prominent Scottish public sector organisation in the recruitment of a Microsoft 365 Administrator. This role plays a key part in shaping and delivering modern Microsoft 365 solutions that align with the organisation's business goals and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the IT Manager to design, implement, and maintain Microsoft 365 solutions such as Office 365, Teams, SharePoint Online, Planner, and Power Automate.
  • Provide end-to-end administration and support of the Microsoft 365 environment, ensuring stability, usability, and performance.
  • Support the migration of data and content from legacy systems to the Microsoft 365 platform.
  • Develop and manage a Microsoft 365 roadmap, identifying opportunities to leverage new features and platform enhancements.
  • Promote effective knowledge sharing, collaboration, and streamlined workflows using Microsoft 365 tools.
  • Deliver user training and create supporting documentation and materials to aid adoption of new systems and processes.
  • Provide technical support for incidents escalated from the helpdesk, troubleshooting system and application issues as needed.
  • Explore opportunities to scale the use of Microsoft 365 and Power Platform tools across the organisation.
  • Offer technical guidance and support for the Power BI platform.

Ideal Candidate

  • Strong hands-on experience with the administration of Microsoft 365, including Office 365, Teams, SharePoint Online, and related tools.
  • Proven track record in delivering Microsoft 365 solutions in a public sector or similarly complex environment.
  • Experience with data migration and user adoption strategies.
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate and Power BI.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to train and support users at all levels.
