The Role
/n
As a Travel & Tourism Lecturer, you will:
/n
/n
- Plan and deliver engaging Travel & Tourism lessons.
/n
- Teach students across relevant Travel & Tourism qualifications and programmes.
/n
- Assess learner work and provide constructive feedback.
/n
- Monitor learner progress and support students to achieve their full potential.
/n
- Develop engaging learning materials and contribute to curriculum development.
/n
- Create a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
/n
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure high-quality teaching and learning.
/n
/n
About You
/n
The successful candidate will have:
/n
/n
- Experience teaching Travel & Tourism within an FE college or similar education setting.
/n
- A relevant qualification or degree in Travel, Tourism, Hospitality or a related subject.
/n
- A recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE, CertEd, DET, QTLS or QTS is desirable.
/n
- Strong knowledge of the Travel & Tourism sector.
/n
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
/n
- A genuine passion for supporting learners and helping them achieve their goals.
/n
/n
Industry experience within travel, tourism, aviation, hospitality, airlines or tour operations would also be welcomed.
/n
