Overview
Central Recruitment is currently recruiting for a TST Caseworker to join a dynamic service supporting individuals aged 18+ who are recovering from homelessness. This role focuses on delivering high-quality tenancy sustainment and floating support, helping clients maintain independence, improve wellbeing, and successfully move forward into long-term accommodation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of 25-28 clients, delivering regular key working sessions
- Develop strengths-based, outcome-focused support plans with clients
- Carry out risk assessments and implement effective risk management strategies
- Support clients with debt reduction, budgeting, and maximising income
- Work in partnership with statutory and non-statutory services, including accompanying clients to appointments
- Support access to health services, addressing physical and mental health needs
- Promote social inclusion, including access to education, training, and employment opportunities
- Deliver and facilitate group sessions, activities, and drop-ins
- Identify and respond to safeguarding concerns in line with policy and legislation
Requirements
- Experience or strong understanding of working with:
- Homelessness / housing support
- Mental & physical health
- Substance misuse (drug & alcohol)
- Safeguarding and risk management
- Tenancy sustainment (arrears, ASB, budgeting)
- Knowledge of housing pathways and move-on routes (PRS, social housing, supported housing)
- Ability to deliver trauma-informed, strengths-based support and motivational interventions
- Experience supporting clients to move into and sustain accommodation
- Strong partnership working and communication skills
- Ability to manage workload effectively and work independently (including lone working)
