Pentagon Talent are collaborating with a top tier global law firm to recruit a Tax Manager on a permanent basis to join the partnership tax team. Reporting to the Head of Partnership Tax, this role will be based in the firm's London office on a hybrid basis.

The main duties and responsibilities of the Tax Manager include but are not limited to:

  • Leading and managing the full tax compliance cycle for the LLP, its members, and corporate entities
  • Overseeing preparation of UK LLP, corporation tax computations, and individual member tax returns
  • Ensuring timely, accurate tax filings, payments, and handling HMRC correspondence
  • Delivering member tax statements, managing tax reserves, and responding to member queries
  • Monitoring tax legislation, improving processes (including tech solutions), and supporting tax-related projects and analysis

Skills and Experience required:

  • Professionally qualified (e.g. CTA/ACA/ATT or equivalent)
  • Strong UK tax compliance experience, ideally in the legal sector
  • Proficiency in tax software and advanced Excel skills
  • Highly organised, able to plan and deliver a full annual tax compliance cycle
  • Hands-on approach with the ability to both complete tasks and review others' work
  • Works effectively under pressure, managing own and team workloads to meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills
  • Clear and confident communicator, with a team-oriented mindset and focus on development
