Key Responsibilities:
- Work as part of the Supported Learning Team to support and include learners with learning difficulties, disabilities, and other barriers to learning within the curriculum.
- Support the quality of teaching and learning across curriculum areas.
- Support the progress and attainment of identified learners with additional SEND/EHCPs to achieve success in their course of study.
- Promote the highest level of independence for each student while ensuring they are always in a safe and healthy environment.
- Provide personal care for students who require it.
Skills & Experience:
- Experience in learning support or support work with young people with learning disabilities (e.g. autism, ADHD).
- Experience working within an educational environment providing academic or personal care support.
- Experience with or willingness to provide personal care support to individuals with high needs.
- Available to interview immediately.
- Right to Work in the UK and an Enhanced Adult & Child DBS dated within the last 3 months or registered on the update service.
