About the Role / Job Summary:
/n
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Functional Skills Tutor to deliver Functional Skills up to level 2 in English and Maths for young people aged 16-24. This role emphasizes a blended learning approach, utilizing both group sessions and one-on-one support to ensure learners achieve their qualifications. You will play a crucial role in fostering an inclusive learning environment that promotes skill development and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:
/n
/n
- Organize and deliver Functional Skills lessons in English and Maths.
/n
- Utilize digital delivery models for effective blended learning.
/n
- Conduct initial assessments and create action plans for learners.
/n
- Maintain a caseload of learners and monitor their progress.
/n
- Individualize programs to meet the needs of employers and learners.
/n
- Participate in team meetings and standardization processes.
/n
- Ensure accurate administration and compliance with data protection regulations.
/n

Education Requirements:
/n
/n
- Level 3 award in education and training (or equivalent).
/n
- GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above (or equivalent).
/n
/n
Experience Requirements:
/n
/n
- Proven track record of delivering Functional Skills to young people aged 16-24.
/n
- Experience in training and assessment delivery, both face-to-face and remotely.
/n
- Experience working with SEND or high-need learners.
/n
- Effective self-management and workload management skills.
/n
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with learners and stakeholders.
