Morgan Hunt are working with a national Charity who are looking for an SEN Employability Tutor in North London. This is a part time (3 days per week), permanent role paying a pro rata salary of up to £33,500 (depending on qualifications and experience). The role will involve delivering Employability programmes including Functional Skills to post-16 learners with special needs. The role will be based on site 3 days per week.

The SEN Employability Tutor will be responsible for:

  • Planning, creating and delivering engaging Employability programmes including Functional Skills
  • Providing advice and guidance to learners to overcome barriers to secure employment
  • Developing relationships with key stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes
  • Working with the quality team to ensure standards are maintained

The SEN Employability Tutor will need to:

  • Have Level 5 Teaching qualification or equivalent (the client may consider someone with a Level 3 qualification)
  • Experience in teaching learners with special educational needs
  • Demonstrate a successful track record in delivering Employability programmes or Functional Skills
  • Be willing to work on site 3 days per week

In return, the SEN Employability Tutor will receive:

  • An annual salary of up to £33,500 (pro rata)
  • Opportunity to upskill to a Level 5 teaching qualification (if not already held)
  • 32 days of paid holiday (including bank holidays pro rata)
