Morgan Hunt have partnered with a market leading Training Provider who are recruiting for a Maritime Business Development Manager in London. This is a full time permanent role paying up to £35,000 plus bonuses of up to £5,000. The role offers hybrid working where you will have to be in their office 2 days and 3 days can be remote.

The primary function of this role will be to promote the providers Maritime Apprenticeships to employers. As this is a specialist role, the client is willing to consider candidates who do not possess a sales background; however, experience within the maritime industry is essential.

The Maritime Business Development Manager will be responsible for:

  • Engaging with employers to promote the providers Apprenticeships
  • Developing new and existing relationships with employers
  • Collaborating with Tutors to develop an understanding of each learners career inspirations
  • Capturing data to meet Ofsted requirements

The Maritime Business Development Manager will need to have:

  • Previous experience in working within the maritime industry
  • Experience of developing relationships
  • Ideally worked within a target driven environment but not essential
  • The ability to travel nationally to meet clients
  • Knowledge of employment and education programmes
