We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Finance Lecturer to join a college in Romford on a full-time basis. You will deliver engaging and industry-relevant lessons to further education students, supporting them in developing the financial knowledge, analytical skills, and professional understanding required for careers in finance, accounting, and business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver high-quality Finance lessons (AAT, BTEC, Level 2-Level 5, or equivalent)
  • Assess, monitor, and track student progress effectively
  • Support students in developing practical and theoretical knowledge in finance and accounting
  • Prepare learners for coursework, assessments, and examinations
  • Differentiating teaching to meet a range of abilities and learning needs
  • Maintain a professional, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff
  • Contribute to curriculum development and learner achievement strategies
About You
  • Relevant qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related subject
  • Teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent) - desirable
  • Experience teaching in a college or FE setting
  • Strong subject knowledge and awareness of current financial practices
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills
  • Passion for supporting learners into finance and business careers
  • Desirable: Experience delivering AAT, BTEC, or professional finance qualifications
  • Industry experience within finance, banking, or accounting environments
  • Familiarity with current UK FE curriculum and assessment frameworks
