Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one and small-group support to students in classroom settings across a range of subjects and levels.
- Assist students with learning difficulties, disabilities, and additional support needs to access the curriculum effectively.
- Encourage independence, confidence, and active participation in learning activities.
- Monitor and record student progress, attendance, and the effectiveness of support provided.
- Support students' emotional, social, and pastoral needs while promoting positive behaviour.
- Work closely with lecturers and support staff to implement learning strategies and reasonable adjustments.
- Reinforce learning by helping students practise and develop skills taught during lessons.
- Accompany students on educational visits and support participation in college activities where required.
