Morgan Hunt is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interim HR Business Partner to join a dynamic HR and OD team based on the west coast of Scotland, on a contract up until the 31st March 2026.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to significant organisational change projects and shape HR and OD policies.

About the Role

As an HR Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in providing strategic HR and Organisational Development (OD) support to designated service areas.

You will collaborate closely with managers and stakeholders, offering expert advice and guidance on a wide range of HR matters, including:

  • Workforce planning and performance management
  • Change projects and service redesign
  • Talent management and staff development
  • Culture, behaviour, and organisational change initiatives

You will also be involved in

  • Leading the implementation of corporate change projects
  • Developing and reviewing HR and OD policies and frameworks
  • Analysing data to identify HR and OD interventions
  • Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Supporting the Senior HR Business Partner in team planning and budget management
  • Mentoring and allocating work to junior HR team members

About You

The ideal candidate will possess

  • A degree or equivalent vocational qualification in HR/OD or a related field.
  • Chartered Membership of CIPD or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in building positive partnerships with client groups and stakeholders.
  • Experience in leading the development of HR and OD policies and strategies within legislative requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse data and produce complex reports and action plans.
  • Experience working in the public sector.
  • Current and up-to-date knowledge of best practice and legislative requirements in HR and continuous improvement.
  • Sound knowledge of employment legislation.
  • The ability to travel efficiently between various work locations.
