The Building Services Manager shall be responsible for:
- Supporting the Head of Maintenance, (Tooting) with the management and auditing of contracted maintenance across the campus.
- Management of compliance contracts, such as and not limited to, LOLER, Legionella L8, pressure systems, refrigeration and F-gas, gas boilers, asbestos, fire systems, electrical testing.
- Supervision and management of specialist Subcontractors, attending and minuting meetings with sub-contractors as required.
- Reviewing and approving risk assessment and method statements, (RAMS).
- Monthly reporting on contractor performance ahead of any contractor KPI meetings.
- Weekly auditing by means of percentage checks the quality of works carried out in the field.
- Carrying out routine inspections of plant and systems during each shift.
- Ensuring that all compliance documentation and reports are stored centrally within the CSGU IT system and are audit ready.
- Implementing emergency and contingency procedures under the instruction of the Head of Maintenance to maintain services.
- Developing, recording and retaining a detailed knowledge of the operational sequences of the Plant.
