Exciting Opportunity - Library Assistant (Term-Time Only)
Morgan Hunt is thrilled to be working with a fantastic college in the Bedfordshire area! Together, we're on the lookout for a dedicated, friendly, and highly motivated Library Assistant to support student learning and help maintain an engaging and well-organized library environment. If you have a passion for education and enjoy working with students, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
The Role:
- Location - Bedfordshire
- Hours - Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 3 PM (Term-Time Only)
- Contract Length - Temporary
- Pay Rate - £12 - £14 per hour (depending on experience)
What You'll Be Doing:
- Providing excellent customer service at the library desk.
- Assisting students in finding resources and supporting their study skills.
- Maintaining the administration of the library.
- Keeping the library area clean, tidy, and safe.
- Assisting with Study Skills sessions and one-to-one support.
- Promoting and maintaining resources and equipment.
- Ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of students in the library.
What We're Looking For:
- A passion for education and student development.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Confidence in using Microsoft Office and digital library systems.
- An Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy learning environment.
