We're working with a welcoming college in North London, seeking a dedicated Level 7 Dyslexia Assessor to join their team on a permanent basis, starting in September 2026. You'll be supporting students aged 16-25 across both mainstream college provision and a specialist SEND provision for learners with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct specialist assessments for exam access arrangements and maintain a register of entitlements
  • Coordinate and process JCQ-compliant access arrangements
  • Advise staff on reasonable adjustments, JCQ regulations, and inclusive practices
  • Support learners across vocational, academic, and Preparation for Adulthood pathways
  • Work closely with families and professionals to ensure students receive appropriate support
  • Contribute to a culture of aspiration, inclusion, and high expectations

Requirements:

  • Level 7 qualification in Access Arrangements Assessment and registration with an appropriate professional body
  • Strong knowledge of JCQ regulations and SEND legislation
  • Highly organised, empathetic, and student-centered
  • Ability to build positive relationships with young people, staff, and families
  • Passionate about inclusive education and student potential
