Job Title: Lead Move on Worker Location: London – closest station: Vauxhall Assignment: 2-3 months, with the possibility of rolling on a monthly basis Rota: Monday to Friday – 09:00-17:00 Pay: £17.95 + holiday pay = £20.12 or £22.50 via umbrella Service overview: Homeless Assessment hub in central London! In this role you will be one of the experienced heads on the Move on team that supports clients at the 28 bed assessment hub, readying them for move on and helping clients to obtain longer term accommodation. The service supports clients who have been referred by the local authority and outreach teams. The aim is to assess clients, provide support for their needs and find accommodation for them within a 28-day period. This is not always possible due to the complex nature of move on, but the service plays a pivotal role in the lives of many homeless people. The successful candidate will: Responsible for the continual improvement of service effectiveness, ensuring that service users or internal customers receive a high-quality outcome-focussed service. Responsible for maximising the contribution of all workers (paid and unpaid) within the team to the overall effectiveness of the service.
