Pentagon Talent are recruiting on behalf of a prestigious top 10 ranked Global law firm, seeking a Junior Finance Assistant to join their Partner Finance and Tax team in a full-time, permanent role based in Central London. Working on a flexible hybrid basis of 3 days per week in the office and 2 days from home, this role does not require someone to have prior Partnership Accounts or Tax experience and would be ideal for anyone just starting their professional accountancy qualifications and currently at a junior level in a finance function, or a junior in payroll, within the legal sector.

Key Responsibilities for the Junior Finance Assistant:
- Support with monthly and quarterly partner remuneration processes
- Assist with reconciliations (e.g. partner drawings, current accounts, allowances)
- Help process internal recharges (e.g. medical insurance, gym memberships)
- Contribute to managing and reconciling partner capital
- Prepare income statements, update internal systems, and support partner cashflow tracking
- Gain exposure to tax reporting and controls, including tax reserve releases and ledger reviews
Who We’re Looking For:
- Someone with prior legal finance experience
- Someone with a basic understanding of double-entry bookkeeping
- Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, etc.)
- Keen attention to detail and willingness to learn
