Location: Redbridge / Ilford
Pay Rate: £15-£17 per hour
Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm
Additional Requirement: 1 early outreach shift per week (7:30am-3:00pm)
Contract Length: 3-4 month assignment
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Outreach Worker to join a substance misuse service based in Redbridge/Ilford. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous experience in drug and alcohol services who is passionate about supporting vulnerable individuals within the community.
Key Responsibilities:- Carrying out community outreach and engaging with vulnerable clients
- Supporting service users with recovery and support plans
- Providing harm reduction advice and appropriate signposting
- Working closely with partner agencies and support services
- Maintaining accurate case notes and client records
- Promoting recovery-focused interventions and safeguarding practices
- Previous experience within substance misuse services is essential
- Strong communication and engagement skills
- Ability to work independently within the community
- Good understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality
