Duration: 3 months

HR Business Partner opportunity with our client within the Further Education sector. The successful candidate will work closely with managers and stakeholders to support employee relations, organisational change, workforce development, and key people initiatives across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take the lead on a range of HR casework, supporting managers and employees through processes including disciplinary, sickness absence, probation, performance management, and flexible/hybrid working requests.
  • Provide expert HR advice and guidance on organisational change processes, including restructures and redundancies, managing consultation meetings with trade unions, drafting formal correspondence, and calculating redundancy payments.
  • Contribute to the delivery of HR strategies and support a variety of HR projects and initiatives across the organisation.

Essential requirements

  • Proven experience working within an HR function at Senior HR Advisor or HR Business Partner level.
  • DBS Enhanced Check required.
  • Demonstrable experience partnering with operational teams to deliver a proactive and comprehensive HR service.
  • Strong background in managing a range of HR casework, including absence management, disciplinary matters, and grievance procedures.
  • Experience supporting organisational change initiatives, including restructures.
