We are looking for a compassionate Housing Support Worker to support ex-offenders in achieving stable housing and independence. The role involves providing person-centred support, managing properties, and collaborating with partner agencies.

Location: Colchester

Working Hours: 35 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide weekly support and life skills assistance to service users
  • Manage 3-4 properties, ensuring they meet required standards
  • Support move-on planning and engage with agencies to ensure successful outcomes
  • Occasionally work Saturdays with Monday off

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Enhanced Adult DBS and HMPPS clearance
  • Car driver with own vehicle and valid business insurance required
