About the Role / Job Summary: Join a vibrant higher education institution dedicated to delivering high-quality global education services. The BA Hospitality Management Lecturer role focuses on creating holistic approaches to teaching and learning, promoting student success and retention. Ideal candidates will have a strong teaching record, industry links, and a passion for enriching the educational experience. As a lecturer, you will teach across multiple levels, manage course responsibilities, and contribute to curriculum development while providing academic support to students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach across all levels (4-6 essential), with teaching at L3 and L7 considered desirable.
  • Set and maintain educational and professional standards in teaching and curriculum development.
  • Manage course responsibilities including lesson planning, assessment, and resource management.
  • Provide academic and pastoral support to students, monitoring progress and maintaining records.
  • Maintain strong links with related industries and professional bodies.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and cross-disciplinary teaching strategies.
  • Engage in research and professional practice to enhance pedagogic awareness.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree and a UK-recognized teaching qualification are required.
  • Fellowship (or higher) of the Higher Education Academy is preferred.

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2+ years UK Higher Education teaching experience.
  • Demonstrable teaching record of innovation and success in the classroom across all levels.
  • Experience in curriculum design and development.
  • Strong industry connections to facilitate partnerships or collaborations.
